Well I can officially check off Freshman year off my metaphorical check list. Freshman year was really fun and I made lots of great memories! So far high school has been pretty great. Met lots of new people and kept in touch with old friends as well. All my classes were pretty easy except for Geometry. That was a mission to pass. But at the end of the year I passed it and got my credits! Geometry was a pretty fun class to be in and it felt weird to be one of the few freshman in there along with Juniors and Seniors. One of my highest moments of Freshman year was playing JV football with Coach Traeger and fighting Strathmore for the league championship. Even though we tied and I didn't get to play due to a concussion I got three weeks prior. I was still very exciting to watch from the sidelines. One of my lowest moments was when me and this girl stopped talking back in January due to reasons. Long story short things didn't work out but that's all behind me now and I'm moving on. Overall Freshman year was great!
The most memorable moments so far was when my brother caught the game winning pass and ran it into the endzone for a touchdown against CVC. I couldn't believe it that Jacobs team beat such a powerful team and not to mention CVC being D4 and Lindsay being D5. It seriously looked like a movie moment. I remember every one and I mean EVERYONE jumping and screaming in the bleachers including me. That's something I'll never forget. For extracurricular activities I like to play online multiplayer on the Xbox and watch anime mostly on my phone. There's not much that I do outside of school or for clubs since I'm not in one. I guess I really enjoy listening to music since I pretty much have my earbuds in my ears constantly. Some of my favorite bands are The Rolling Stones, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Stained, Pearl Jam, Rise Against, and the list goes on. I used to go to football practice and to the gym but now that the season is over I don't have to. I still go to the gym sometimes but not very often. I plan on going to college or I at least would like to go. As for what colleges I'd like to go to I don't really know. I know that I'd prefer if it was located here in California or one of the neighboring states because I for sure am not going across the nation! That's too far and I'd get so homesick. But yes I would really like to go to college. I don't really know what I'll do after high school since I still have 3 years left of it. I haven't really thought about it so for now I don't really know. I could see myself being some sort of technician. I like to build things and destroy things as well. Maybe I could go into demolitions, that'd be pretty cool. Or maybe even the military. I could see myself in a marine uniform standing next to all my brothers in arms. All I know is that I like to get dirty and I hate having to sit for long periods of time, reminds me school too much. Having a desk job would be less than ideal for me. For the rest of my high school career i expect to make new friends and maybe find some more interests since I barely have any. I would like to get into Beginning Guitar but every time I choose it as an elective I never get it. Hopefully I get it one of these years. I want to continue having as much fun as I can without it messing with my grades or getting me into too much trouble. My life is pretty mundane and I need something to keep things interesting. For the rest of high school until the day I graduate I hope to make plenty of great memories that I can look back at when I'm a shriveled old man.
